Cadasta Joins Corus International’s Mission to End Global Poverty

Corus International and Cadasta Foundation today announced they are joining forces to help communities around the world move from vulnerability to long-term resilience and prosperity. Cadasta and Corus will converge their complementary capabilities to address the global poverty crisis at scale.

Cadasta brings expertise in geospatial technology, land documentation and community mapping to complement Corus’ integrated development expertise and global implementation capabilities to deliver more technology-enabled solutions across sectors and geographies.

“Together, we are putting the power of data and technology into the hands of communities, social impact organizations and governments — revolutionizing their ability to make more efficient, targeted and impactful decisions to reduce poverty, improve health outcomes and prepare for and respond to humanitarian crises,” said Corus CEO Daniel Speckhard. “Cadasta strengthens our ability to apply geospatial insights and land expertise in ways that improve performance, accountability and long-term impact.”

Corus International offers a global platform with decades of experience in agriculture, livelihoods, health, education, humanitarian response, conflict resolution and impact investing. Corus’ innovation-driven portfolio of capabilities is bolstered by local teams and networks in more than 40 countries. Cadasta contributes deep expertise in place-based data, built through partnerships with more than 100 organizations across 50 countries.

“Secure land is a catalyst for stronger livelihoods, reduced conflict and generational opportunity,” said Cadasta CEO Amy Coughenour Betancourt. “Together, we can embed that foundation across a wider set of programs and geographies.”

By integrating Cadasta’s expertise into broader development strategies, Corus strengthens its 5 Fundamentals platform — Place, Nutrition, Health, Knowledge and Income. As part of the Corus family, Cadasta will strengthen “Place” by helping communities better document and manage the land and resources that support their homes, livelihoods and futures, an often overlooked but foundational cornerstone of lasting development. Secure land tenure supports stability, agricultural productivity, economic opportunity, environmental stewardship, and long-term resilience — helping communities withstand displacement pressures and enabling families to recover and rebuild when they return home.

“This is about going further, together,” said Speckhard. “By combining our strengths, we can deliver solutions that are not only more comprehensive but more durable, helping communities build stronger, more resilient futures.”

Cadasta will retain its brand, leadership and operational independence as a member of the Corus corporate family. Cadasta will continue to lead its programs, manage its platform and work directly with its partners, while contributing its expertise to Corus’ integrated solutions. The alignment will improve coordination across teams, increase administrative efficiency and reduce duplicative overhead, enabling more resources to be directed toward program impact.

This move reflects a shared commitment to pragmatic, locally led development that is grounded in data, driven by partnership and focused on lasting change.
