MEXICO CITY, Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Every football fan lives a telenovela. There is love, hope, obsession, drama and the unwavering belief that this could be the season.

As football returns, the Las Vegas Raiders bring those emotions to life in Mexico with the final chapters of Corazón de Plata y Negro, a telenovela-inspired series created to celebrate the passion that defines Raider Nation.

The story, which premiered during the Raiders’ Draft Party in Mexico, returns as part of the team’s celebration of the global Football Is Back campaign. Inspired by a format deeply rooted in Mexican popular culture, Corazón de Plata y Negro plays with the emotional truths of fandom: the love for the team, the rituals fans refuse to abandon, the obsession that follows them throughout the season and the renewed hope that comes with every new beginning.

For the start of the season, that story moves beyond the screen and into a live experience at NFL Mexico’s NFL Kickoff Event in Mexico City.

On September 9, Julio Bracho and Jimena Sánchez, members of the cast of Corazón de Plata y Negro, join Raider Nation for a special activation where fans can take photos, get autographs and step inside the world of the series.

The experience recreates one of the production’s central settings: a family living room where a Raiders jersey takes center stage in a story filled with drama, humor and passion for the team, while playing with some of the most recognizable elements of Mexican telenovelas.

Fans can step onto the set, recreate scenes from the production and become part of the story themselves. They can also watch all four episodes of Corazón de Plata y Negro and participate in activities created by the Raiders to celebrate the beginning of the new season.

“Football Is Back is one of the most anticipated moments of the year for our fans. With Corazón de Plata y Negro, we wanted to capture the emotions that make being part of Raider Nation so special, the love, the hope, the drama and the passion that stay with our fans throughout the season,” said Kristen Banks, the team’s Marketing Director. “In Mexico, we are bringing that story to life and giving fans the opportunity to become part of it.”

Through Corazón de Plata y Negro, the Raiders continue to connect with fans in Mexico through culturally relevant storytelling, using humor and familiar references to celebrate a universal truth about football: being a fan means living every game, every season and every moment with emotion.

The Raiders will participate in NFL Mexico’s NFL Kickoff Event. The team is part of the league’s Global Markets Program (GMP), which enables clubs to develop marketing activities, deepen fan engagement and grow their brands in international markets.
