Georgia Manufacturing Alliance celebrates a successful return of its signature statewide manufacturing event
ATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Nearly 300 manufacturing leaders, suppliers and industry professionals came together September 15 for the 2026 Georgia Manufacturing Summit, hosted by the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) at the Cobb Galleria Centre.
The Summit brought Georgia’s manufacturing community together for a full day focused on practical education, meaningful business relationships and the issues affecting manufacturers today.
“This event reminded us exactly why we brought the Georgia Manufacturing Summit back,” said Jason Moss, Founder and CEO of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance. “You could see real conversations happening throughout the day. Manufacturers were meeting new resources, exhibitors were connecting with potential customers, and people were sharing ideas they could take back to their companies and put to work. That is what this event is supposed to do.”
Practical Information Manufacturers Can Use
The Summit featured presentations and educational sessions addressing some of the most important issues facing manufacturers, including automation, workforce development, operational technology and cybersecurity, legal issues, profitability, artificial intelligence, marketing and relationship development.
Morning keynote speaker Brandon Seadorf of PAI Manufacturing opened the program with “Automation in Manufacturing: From Cages to Collaboration,” examining how automation continues to change the manufacturing environment.
The Georgia Manufacturing Workforce Forum, presented by TRC Talent Solutions, brought manufacturing and workforce leaders together for a practical discussion about attracting, developing and retaining the people Georgia manufacturers need.
Throughout the day, speakers and panelists received strong responses from attendees for delivering practical information rather than sales presentations.
Business Happened in the Room
Education was only part of the Summit.
The exhibit hall and networking portions of the event created opportunities for manufacturers and solution providers to have direct conversations about real business needs.
Rather than simply collecting business cards, attendees were encouraged to make meaningful connections, identify resources and begin relationships that continue after the Summit.
“The measure of a successful manufacturing event isn’t how many people walk through the door,” Moss said. “It’s what happens because those people were in the room together. We saw introductions being made, problems being discussed and business conversations taking place throughout the day.”
Exhibitors reported productive conversations with attendees, while manufacturers had the opportunity to meet companies providing products, technology and services supporting Georgia’s manufacturing industry.
Attendees Tell the Story
One of the strongest indicators of the Summit’s impact came directly from attendees themselves.
Throughout the event, manufacturers, exhibitors, speakers and industry leaders shared video testimonials describing their experiences at the Summit, the connections they made and the value of bringing Georgia’s manufacturing community together.
Those testimonials will be featured as part of GMA’s post-Summit coverage and will help tell the story of Georgia manufacturing through the voices of the people working in the industry every day.
Building Toward the 2027 Georgia Manufacturing Summit
Following the success of the 2026 event, planning is already underway for the 2027 Georgia Manufacturing Summit.
Companies that participated in the 2026 Summit are being offered an opportunity to secure early access for 2027 with a $100 deposit, locking in 2026 pricing and providing priority access to booth selection before the new floor plan is released to the public.
Full registration for the 2027 Summit is expected to open in May.
“Our job now is to build on what happened in that room,” Moss said. “The Summit is one day, but the relationships and business opportunities created there will continue all year. That is where the real value is.”
