Hagerstown-based Gilded Painting adds Seal-Krete epoxy garage floor coatings with deco flake and quartz broadcast options, a rarity among local painting companies.

Gilded Painting, a painting company that serves homes and small businesses around Hagerstown, Maryland, now offers Seal-Krete epoxy floor coatings for garages. Made by Rust-Oleum, the coating gives homeowners a tough floor finish that stands up to stains, moisture, and everyday wear. The company is excited to offer this option, as it’s something most other painting companies in the area don’t offer.
“Garage floors take a lot of abuse, and most homeowners settle for whatever the builder put down,” said Daniel Stroud, CEO of Gilded Painting. “Seal-Krete gives us a coating that holds up and looks good. And the flake and quartz options let homeowners pick a finish for their garage instead of a one-size-fits-all gray floor.”
The new options build on the company’s existing epoxy floor coating service. Deco flake scatters small flecks of color across the floor, which helps hide dirt and small marks between cleanings. Quartz gives the floor a smoother, more even texture that looks similar to natural stone.
Both finishes go over a prepared concrete floor built to handle hot tires, spilled chemicals, and the damp conditions common in Maryland garages. Gilded Painting’s project managers check in daily while the work is underway, the same way they do for painting jobs. A dedicated scheduling coordinator keeps each epoxy job on track from start to finish.
Stroud said the new coating option fits the same approach the company takes with its other work. “Homeowners who already know us for their interior or exterior paint now have another project choice to call our team about,” Stroud added. “It’s one more way we can take something that used to feel like a builder-grade afterthought and make it look intentional.”
Along with garage floor coatings, Gilded Painting offers professional home painting services for interior and exterior projects throughout the region. The company serves areas near Hagerstown, including Frederick, Chambersburg, and Martinsburg. Gilded Painting also continues to grow across Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
The new Seal-Krete options are the latest addition to Gilded Painting’s lineup as the company grows in its home market and expands into new areas.
